(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of May 12, in Dien Cat commune, Dien Chau district, candidates for the provincial People's Council elected in unit No. 7 had a meeting with voters of 6 communes: Dien Binh, Dien Minh, Dien Thang, Dien Tan, Dien Phu and Dien Cat.

Candidates for the Provincial People's Council include: Cao Thi Hien - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Nguyen Cong Luc - Deputy Commander, Provincial Border Guard Command; Ton Manh - Deputy Chief of the Provincial Party Committee Office; Phan Thi Tuyet Hanh - Deputy Chief of the Provincial Party Committee Office; Nguyen Van Hau - Deputy Head of Politics, Political Department, Provincial Border Guard Command; Cao Thi Thuy - Party Secretary, Chairman of the People's Council of Dien Phu commune, Dien Chau district.

At the conference, representatives of the Fatherland Front of Dien Chau district read a brief biographical report of the candidates and each candidate for the Provincial People's Council reported on his/her action program when elected as a delegate.

Voter Ha Duy Bang, Dien Binh commune, shared that a populous province is putting great pressure on employment for workers. Therefore, through the elected candidates, it is necessary to recommend and propose to the Provincial People's Council policies and solutions to attract investment, especially large projects to create more jobs for workers; limit the situation of Nghe An workers going to work in the southern provinces, with low income, and at risk of social evils.

Voter Nguyen Hoang Chau, Dien Cat commune, proposed that the Provincial People's Council should pay attention to people with meritorious services and those who fought in battlefields to ensure the recognition of the Party and State for these people....

At the end of the meeting with voters, on behalf of the candidates, Ms. Cao Thi Hien - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council promised to fully absorb the opinions of voters; at the same time, directly answer the issues under her authority and take note of other opinions that are not under her authority, continue to reflect to the relevant levels and sectors for consideration and direction to resolve.
