(Baonghean.vn) - Voters in Ky Son district proposed that authorities at all levels need to have solutions to support, create livelihoods and solve local jobs for workers and laborers returning home due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

On the morning of October 4, the XV National Assembly deputies, including Mr. Hoang Minh Hieu - Standing member of the National Assembly Law Committee; Mr. Tran Nhat Minh - Member of the National Assembly Law Committee, XV National Assembly deputies, elected in Ky Son district, had a meeting with voters of Nam Can commune, Ky Son district.

At the Conference, delegates and voters listened to a summary report on the socio-economic development, national defense and security situation in Nam Can commune.Ky Son district.

With more than 23 km of border, Nam Can commune is an important area for national defense and border security of Ky Son district and Nghe An province. The commune has 939 households, including 3 ethnic groups: Mong, Thai, Kho Mu living together, in 6 villages and hamlets close to the Vietnam - Laos border.

In recent years, despite many difficulties, the Party Committee, government and people of Nam Can border commune have always complied with the Party's policies and guidelines and the State's laws, done a good job of protecting border security, and lived in harmony with villages in neighboring Laos.

During the meeting with voters, the people of Nam Can commune (Ky Son) proposed that the Ministry of National Defense, the Government and the National Assembly pay attention to allocating funds to repair the border belt road; loosen border controls so that people can trade goods, especially livestock, pets and agricultural products.

Voters recommend that authorities at all levels need to have solutions to support funding to create livelihoods and solve local jobs for workers and laborers returning home due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Voters hope that the Central Government will create conditions to allocate funding to implement resettlement and landslide prevention projects in communes in the district.

In addition, voters of Nam Can commune proposed that the State soon support and allocate funds for Ky Son district to allocate land and forests to people to develop production, improve their lives, and protect forests themselves.

Voters' opinions and recommendations were directly explained by the Party Committee, the commune government and the departments, agencies and branches of Ky Son district at the conference. Some opinions are under the authority of the province and the Central Government. Delegate Tran Nhat Minh promised to synthesize and transfer people's opinions to competent professional agencies, resolve and respond thoroughly to the people.
