Nghi Loc voters: Need to regulate school construction contributions instead of "socialization"

On the morning of June 29, the provincial People's Council delegates including Mr. Dang Quang Hong - Deputy Head of the Economic - Budget Committee of the provincial People's Council; Ms. Dinh Thi An Phong - President of the Women's Union of Phuc Tho commune (Nghi Loc) had a meeting with voters of Nghi Trung commune, Nghi Loc district. Also attending the meeting with voters were delegates of the Nghi Loc district People's Council.

At the meeting, voters of Nghi Trung commune were reported by the provincial People's Council delegates on the socio-economic development of the province in the first 6 months of 2018 and the expected program of the 6th session of the 17th provincial People's Council.

With 11 opinions, Nghi Trung commune voters sent many contents to the provincial and district People's Council delegates. In particular, voters requested the province to pay attention to supporting funding for dredging Rao Truong canal to provide irrigation water for production and flood drainage during the rainy and stormy season.

The North-South railway bypass route through Hamlet 10, Nghi Trung Commune has no drainage system, which will cause flooding in the area during the coming rainy season. Voters in Nghi Trung Commune suggested that the province should abandon the current campaign to "socialize" education and return to collecting compulsory school construction fees as before so that the revenue can be managed and used more effectively. Voters' opinions were received, explained and synthesized by delegates of the Provincial and District People's Councils and reported to the People's Councils at the same level.
