The current state of planning and construction makes voters angry

At the conference, voters of Le Loi ward expressed their concern and reflected on many complicated issues arising in the area. That is the reality of the growing number of apartment buildings causing the free space to be narrowed, affecting traffic infrastructure, causing congestion in the drainage system, leading to frequent flooding when it rains; the province and the city need to have drastic solutions in managing and supervising public investment projects to ensure quality and efficiency of use.

Many voters also expressed their frustration when reflecting on the current state of traffic infrastructure in the area. In particular, the 18m road passing through the area has been planned but has not yet been invested in construction. This situation has caused many houses to deteriorate but cannot be upgraded, repaired and related rights cannot be exercised. In addition, Le Lai and Hoang Xuan Han roads have seriously degraded, voters have petitioned through many different forums but the current situation has not been invested in upgrading...

In addition, at the conference, delegates of the Provincial and City People's Councils also heard voters' recommendations related to the subdivision and sale of land plots in Nghe An Road Zone II, which has narrowed the traffic route and caused problems with order and the environment; many issues such as planning, construction, traffic infrastructure, handling of subjects who create fake war invalids' records... were also raised by voters at the conference.

"Le Loi Ward goes first and comes back later"

"Le Loi Ward is the first to leave" - ​​Mr. Nguyen Van Lu - Provincial People's Council Delegate, Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of Vinh City People's Council said this to voters to explain the shortcomings in planning, construction, and urban infrastructure in the area.

Accordingly, while many wards and communes of Vinh city were formed later, so they have had synchronous planning and construction, meeting the requirements of technical infrastructure, Le Loi ward is facing many difficulties in urban planning, construction, and population arrangement. This is the cause of complications and frustrations of voters.

Acknowledging the voters’ valid opinions, Mr. Nguyen Van Lu also explained some issues that voters were concerned about. Regarding many projects that could not be invested in, the Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council said that the city is currently facing many difficulties in capital and funding, so it cannot be implemented in a timely manner.

The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Vinh City Party Committee also shared the difficulties that voters of Le Loi Ward are facing due to the shortcomings in urban planning, construction and beautification, and affirmed that the contents reflected are under the authority of the city and the ward government will receive and propose solutions to overcome them. The contents under the authority of the province and departments and branches will propose and reflect to the upcoming session of the Provincial People's Council.
