Quynh Luu voters expressed concern about farmers' lack of interest in the fields.

At the conference, voters expressed their excitement at the country's development results during the 2015-2020 term, especially in terms of growth rate and per capita income.

In addition, voters reflected on many issues related to the policies and regimes for commune and hamlet officials. In particular, voter Nguyen Van Tao in Hamlet 1, Quynh My Commune raised the issue of implementing Decision No. 14/2020/QD-UBND dated May 27, 2020 of the People's Committee of Nghe An Province on the level of allowances and the process of implementing the level of allowances for people directly participating in the work of hamlets, blocks, and villages in the province.

According to Mr. Tao, the current policy implementation procedures are still cumbersome and the spending level is still just compensation, not enough to motivate, therefore, he proposed that the Provincial People's Council study and make adjustments.

Regarding this issue, voter Vo Van Hung - Chairman of the Fatherland Front Committee of Quynh Hoa commune said that currently, some non-professional cadres at the commune level such as veterinary and plant protection have been streamlined, making it very difficult to direct and operate. Therefore, voter Hung requested that all levels have solutions to solve difficulties for the grassroots.

Some voters also expressed concerns about the situation of farmers abandoning their fields in the area. Mr. Nguyen Chi Ngoc - a voter from Hamlet 1, Quynh My Commune, suggested studying policies to effectively use agricultural land and avoid waste; in addition, this voter also expressed his opinion about not having access to support according to the province's policies when implementing high-tech agricultural models.

Mr. Nguyen The Long - Quynh My Commune Elderly Association proposed to reduce the age of receiving social protection from the current 80 years old to 75 years old.

In addition, voters also reflected on a number of issues related to the assessment of poor households; completion of the inter-commune road from Quynh Hoa and Quynh Thach to Ngoc Son commune; early completion of the resettlement area for people subject to site clearance to implement the North-South Expressway Project through the commune so that people can relocate soon; ...

At the conference, leaders of the People's Committee of Quynh Luu district and a number of departments and branches responded to voters' recommendations under their authority. Regarding the increasing situation of abandoned agricultural land, Mr. Hoang Van Bo - Chairman of the People's Committee of Quynh Luu district pointed out that the reason is that agricultural production is less effective than other sectors and fields, so many workers are not interested. In addition, Quynh Luu district is also facing difficulties in labor resources.

The head of the People's Committee of Quynh Luu district said that the fundamental, long-term, and effective solution is to accumulate land to apply science and technology, plant varieties, and link product consumption... Therefore, at the district level, we will receive and propose a policy on land accumulation.

Regarding the work of site clearance and construction of resettlement areas for households relocated to build the North-South expressway in the district, Mr. Hoang Van Bo said that in the district, there are 3 communes implementing resettlement areas for people subject to site clearance under the expressway project, including Quynh Hoa commune.

Emphasizing that this is a very important issue, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Quynh Luu district said that the district's progress in site clearance is currently at the top of the province. However, in response to voters' recommendations, he affirmed that he will continue to urge the early completion of infrastructure in resettlement areas so that affected households can soon draw lots for resettlement land.

On behalf of the National Assembly delegates, Major General Nguyen Sy Hoi received the voters' opinions and emphasized that the recommendations were very enthusiastic and responsible and suggested that the district and related sectors continue to participate in solving them. In particular, regarding the establishment of criteria for poor households and the policy of land accumulation, the provincial National Assembly delegation will continue to discuss and give opinions to have appropriate policies.
