Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc awarded the Third Class Labor Medal to Quynh Luu 2 High School.
On the morning of November 8, Quynh Luu 2 High School (Quynh Van commune, Nghe An province) held a ceremony to celebrate the school's 60th anniversary (1965 - 2025) and receive the Third Class Labor Medal for the second time.
Attending the ceremony were comrades: Ho Duc Phoc - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Prime Minister; Hoang Phu Hien - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; representatives of leaders of provincial departments, branches and sectors; local leaders, and many generations of teachers and students of the school.
Quynh Luu 2 High School, formerly Quynh Luu 2 High School, was established in 1965, when it had only 4 classes, 189 students and 9 staff members. Over 60 years of construction and development, generations of teachers and students of the school have always been united, dynamic, creative, overcoming difficulties to make the school stronger and stronger.
Currently, the school has 42 classes, with nearly 2,000 students; 100 cadres, teachers, and employees, of which 100% meet training standards, nearly 50% have qualifications above the standard, 50% of teachers have achieved the title of Provincial Excellent Teacher. The school's facilities are invested in spacious and modern, with 48 high-rise classrooms, 7 practice rooms (including rooms: English, Information Technology, Chemistry, Physics - Technology and Biology), electronic library and green - clean - beautiful campus, meeting the requirements of innovation of general education programs and digital transformation.
Over the years, Quynh Luu 2 High School has been honored to receive many noble awards: Third-class Labor Medal (2005), Certificate of Merit from the Prime Minister (2015) and Third-class Labor Medal for the second time (2025). The school was recognized as meeting national standards from the 2014-2015 school year, assessed the quality of education at level 2 and was re-recognized as meeting national standards in 2020 and 2025. For many years, the school has received the Emulation Flag from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, and received Certificates of Merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and the Minister of Education and Training...
On the occasion of the 60th anniversary of its founding, the school was honored to receive the Third Class Labor Medal for the second time from the President. Many collectives and individuals were awarded Certificates of Merit by the Ministry of Education and Training, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, etc.
Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Hoang Phu Hien congratulated and commended the outstanding achievements of teachers and students of Quynh Luu 2 High School. At the same time, he hoped that the school would continue to promote the revolutionary tradition and studious spirit of Quynh Luu's hometown; firmly adhere to the goal of fundamental and comprehensive innovation in education and training; continue to invest in and consolidate facilities and teaching equipment; build a green - clean - beautiful pedagogical environment; promote the application of information technology, innovate teaching methods; train a team of teachers with capacity, intelligence, courage and creativity, meeting the requirements of educational development in the new period.
