Tan Ky voters propose to handle oversized and overloaded vehicles that damage roads
(Baonghean.vn) - At the meeting with National Assembly deputies, voters of Tan Phu commune (Tan Ky district) requested authorities at all levels and functional agencies to strengthen inspection and handling of oversized and overloaded vehicles transporting minerals that are damaging roads in the area.
On the morning of June 26, National Assembly deputies including Mr. Phan Dinh Trac - Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission; Ms. Hoang Thi Thu Trang - Secretary of Nghia Dan District Party Committee met with voters of Tan Phu commune (Tan Ky district).

After listening to National Assembly delegate Hoang Thi Thu Trang - Secretary of Nghia Dan District Party Committee briefly announce to voters the results of the 9th session of the 14th National Assembly, voters expressed many opinions and expressed their thoughts and aspirations.
Voter Nguyen Huu Binh reported that he himself was in the army and was injured. After being assessed, his disability rate was 17%. He is still holding the records, but up to this point, he has not been certified as a war invalid.

Voter Dang Duc Quang reported that since the 1980s, his family has reclaimed agricultural land. In 2017, the family applied for a Land Use Rights Certificate but was not granted one. In addition, the family's residential land and garden land before 2004, they still pay taxes every year but have not yet been issued a certificate.
Voter Nguyen Trong Bang reported that the operation of cassava factories and brick kilns affects the environment and people's lives. On National Highway 48E, there is a curved section of road with no signs, so vehicle owners often get into traffic accidents.

At the meeting, many voters reflected on the problems between the people and Song Con Agricultural Company Limited. The content that the people reflected revolved around the economic contract between the two parties, land, and labor policies... The people requested that the authorities and the company clearly answer this issue.
In addition, many voters also reported problems in the area such as: frequent power outages; suspended industrial park planning; oversized and overloaded vehicles carrying sand and gravel causing serious road degradation; abuse in medical examination and treatment; environmental pollution from cassava factories and brick kilns...
Explaining the voters' opinions, Chairman of Tan Ky District People's Committee, Mr. Hoang Quoc Viet said that Song Con Agricultural Company Limited must rent land from the State and pay taxes to use it for production and business purposes. Therefore, when people receive contracts with the company, they must organize production according to the company's plan.

Mr. Viet said that he would request the competent authority to inspect and if the company committed any violations, he would propose to handle them. At the same time, he requested the district police to strengthen inspection and handle the situation of oversized and overloaded vehicles in the area.
Regarding the opinion of Mr. Dang Duc Quang, Chairman of Tan Ky District People's Committee, when there was a project to measure and issue land titles, people made documents but the commune forgot to do so. When the project ended, people came to ask but it was too late. Therefore, in 2019, the district criticized the Chairman of Tan Phu Commune People's Committee and land officials for being slow in making documents to issue land titles to people. The Chairman of the District People's Committee requested Tan Phu Commune to continue to speed up the progress of making land titles for people.
Responding to voters' opinions, delegate Phan Dinh Trac - Head of the Central Internal Affairs Committee said that to resolve people's opinions, it is recommended to have a frank dialogue between the Provincial People's Committee, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, the company, the government and the people to remove obstacles and create consensus. The Tan Ky District Military Command should inspect and consider resolving Mr. Binh's benefits, and if possible, resolve them on a case-by-case basis.

In addition to the opinions that the Chairman of Tan Ky District People's Committee has responded to, the Head of the Central Internal Affairs Committee would like to accept the opinions and will report to the competent authority for consideration and resolution. At the same time, he hopes that the people will agree, try and make efforts to build the commune to achieve the model New Rural Area in the coming time.
On this occasion, the National Assembly deputies presented 20 gifts to 20 policy households and disadvantaged households in Tan Phu and Nghia Thai communes./.
