(Baonghean.vn) - One of the contents that voters of Hoang Mai town recommended and proposed to all levels and sectors is to resolve the backlog related to site clearance and granting land use right certificates to people.

On the morning of June 26, National Assembly deputies: Nguyen Van Chi - Vice Chairman of the Finance and Budget Committee of the National Assembly; Thai Thi An Chung - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Hoang Thi Thu Hien - Permanent Vice President of the Provincial Women's Union had a meeting with voters of Quynh Loc commune and Quynh Thien ward, Hoang Mai town. Also attending the conference were representatives of provincial departments, branches and delegates of the People's Council of Hoang Mai town.

There were 56 delegates from Nghe An participating in speaking at the National Assembly session.

At the meeting with voters, on behalf of the National Assembly delegates, delegate Hoang Thi Thu Hien - Permanent Vice President of the Provincial Women's Union reported the results of the 5th Session of the 15th National Assembly after 23 days of serious, urgent, scientific, democratic and highly responsible work.

Specifically, the National Assembly passed 8 laws and 17 resolutions. Of particular interest are the Law on Consumer Protection; Law on Bidding; Law on Prices; Law on Cooperatives; Law on amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Exit and Entry of Vietnamese Citizens and the Law on Entry, Exit, Transit and Residence of Foreigners in Vietnam...; Resolution on establishing a Thematic Supervision Team on "Implementation of policies and laws on real estate market management and social housing development from 2015 to the end of 2023"...

The National Assembly spent a lot of time discussing the Government's reports and submissions on socio-economic development; on that basis, it requested the Government, relevant agencies, levels and sectors to continue to synchronously, promptly and comprehensively implement policies, tasks and solutions according to the goals set by the Party Central Committee, the National Assembly and the Government.

Regarding the activities of the National Assembly Delegation of Nghe An province at the session, 56 delegates participated in speaking and discussing draft laws, draft resolutions, reports on socio-economics; security - defense; state budget and important issues under the authority of the National Assembly.

During the session, the delegation held working sessions with a number of central ministries and branches; participated in experience exchange activities with National Assembly delegations of provinces and centrally run cities to provide information on the province's socio-economic situation, local recommendations and proposals, and issues related to the session's content.

Voters reflect many shortcomings in the land sector

Next, in the spirit of democracy and frankness, 11 voters participated in giving opinions and proposing many issues mainly related to the settlement authority of all levels.

Besides appreciating the efforts to innovate activities and create many positive results of the National Assembly and the Party Committee and government of Hoang Mai town, voters also raised many concerns.

Voter Nguyen Minh Tuan (Quynh Thien ward) reflected that from the third quarter of 2022 until now, business operations have encountered many difficulties, especially due to tight monetary policy, making it difficult for businesses to access capital; regulations on production and business conditions are not suitable for the capacity of businesses, such as regulations on fire prevention and fighting.

Voter Tran Dinh Lam, in village 9, Quynh Loc commune, reported that the Hoang Mai I industrial park project has been reclaiming land from local people, but for more than 10 years, no businesses have invested in operations, wasting land resources and affecting social security because it has not created jobs for local people.

Voters also reported that the section of National Highway 1A connecting the industrial park and residential area is under slow construction, causing difficulties for people to travel.

Many voters of Quynh Loc commune requested that authorities pay attention to removing difficulties and speeding up the progress of granting land use right certificates to people subject to resettlement of Nghi Son Cement Factory, Hoang Mai Cement, and Hoang Mai Industrial Park I projects.

At the same time, all levels and sectors will focus on resolving the backlog in site clearance for the North-South Expressway project; the Hoang Mai I Industrial Park infrastructure construction project; and speeding up the site clearance progress for the Nghi Son - Cua Lo coastal road.

Issues related to policies for meritorious people, such as rewards for those awarded the Glorious Resistance Medal, funeral expenses; policies to support housing construction for the poor and people with housing difficulties, etc., were also reflected and proposed by voters.

Pay attention to solving problems within authority

After the voters' feedback, representatives of some provincial departments and branches and leaders of Hoang Mai town received and directly explained issues under their authority.

Delegate Le Truong Giang - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Town Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Hoang Mai town proposed recommendations and hoped that National Assembly delegates would convey the recommendations of Hoang Mai town to the Central Ministries and branches to resolve and remove difficulties in production and business of enterprises and shortcomings and obstacles in practical life.

The Chairman of the People's Council of Hoang Mai town also directly explained the contents of voters' reflections under the town's authority, and at the same time assigned the People's Committee and the Fatherland Front Committee of the town to handle people's questions and difficulties related to housing support, granting land use right certificates, and resolving problems arising from the construction of works and investment projects in the area.

At the end of the conference, on behalf of the National Assembly delegates, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation Thai Thi An Chung thanked voters for their attention to the activities of the National Assembly as well as their concerns and proposals for the National Assembly, all levels and sectors.

Explaining the issue that many voters are interested in and petitioning about related to land, the Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation said that this is an issue that many voters across the country are interested in. Through collecting opinions on the draft revised Land Law, there have been more than 12 million opinions from the people, of which 1.2 million opinions are related to compensation for site clearance.

Based on the opinions of all levels, sectors and the people, the Government has seriously studied and accepted and submitted it to the National Assembly for consideration for the second time at the 5th session and will consider and approve it at the upcoming 6th session. Therefore, we hope that voters will continue to study and contribute their opinions during the process of completing the draft law.

Delegate Thai Thi An Chung also requested the Party Committee and the government of Hoang Mai town to pay attention to reviewing the contents of voters' recommendations to resolve issues within their authority and recommendations, and coordinate to resolve issues within the authority of higher levels, ensuring the common development of the town and the interests of the people.
