Rescue people from smoke inhalation in fire in Vinh city
(Baonghean.vn) - Immediately after receiving the news, CC&CNCH Team No. 1, Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police Department (Nghe An Provincial Police) quickly mobilized forces, vehicles, and organized rescue of victims, controlled and promptly extinguished the fire.
At 22:20 on May 9, CC&CNCH Team No. 1, Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police Department (PCCC&CNCH), Nghe An Provincial Police received a fire report from Center 114: a fire broke out in a house combined with a business at address No. 35, Nguyen Sy Sach Street, Ha Huy Tap Ward, Vinh City.
Immediately, CC&CNCH Team No. 1 dispatched 2 fire trucks and 14 officers to the scene of the fire. Upon arriving at the scene, they found that the fire started on the 1st floor of the 5-story tube house.
At this time, the house's roller shutter was closed, smoke and toxic gas were showing signs of developing strongly, and there was 1 person trapped in the house. CC&CNCH Team No. 1 deployed professional measures to break the roller shutter and approach the fire on the 1st floor.

Identifying that saving people was the top priority, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police force quickly deployed and divided into working groups: The first group used isolation masks and oxygen tanks to approach and put out the fire on the first floor of the house. The second group quickly searched for victims on the upper floors.
Thanks to the synchronous implementation of professional measures along with the spirit of urgency, intelligence and bravery of the working groups, the fire was extinguished about 10 minutes later. At the same time, the victim Nguyen Thi Minh X. (born in 1959) who was trapped on the 5th floor of the house was successfully rescued to safety, preventing the fire from spreading to the residential areas of surrounding households.
Currently, authorities are reviewing the scene and conducting procedures to investigate the cause of the fire.
