Saving the lives of a mother and child in a border commune in Nghe An who committed suicide by eating poison ivy
(Baonghean.vn) - A mother and her child of the Kho Mu ethnic group in Quyet Thang village, Keng Du commune (Ky Son) ate poison ivy and were promptly saved by the Border Guard military doctors and Keng Du commune medical station.
Due to marital conflicts, Ms. Xeo Me H (born in 1982) in Quyet Thang village, Keng Du commune, persuaded her daughter Xeo Thi B, who was studying at Keng Du commune's Ethnic Boarding Secondary School, to commit suicide by eating poison leaves.

Accordingly, at 8:50 a.m. on June 4, the school found Xeo Thi B (born in 2005) eating poison ivy and committing suicide in the forest. Then at 9:25 a.m. on the same day, the family also took B's mother, Xeo Me H (born in 1982), to the emergency room in a state of severe poisoning.

The victims were treated with herbal medicine by border military doctors and doctors at Keng Du commune health station. After more than 2 hours of emergency treatment, both mother and child were out of danger and their health gradually stabilized./.
