Body of missing Nghe An fisherman found at sea
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of February 23, local authorities of Quynh Long commune (Quynh Luu) said that they had found the body of fisherman Pham Van Nam (born in 1987, residing in Dai Tan village, Quynh Long commune, Quynh Luu district).
At around 4:00 p.m. on February 22, a Thanh Hoa fishing boat, while trawling the sea surface nearly 40 nautical miles from the mainland, discovered the body of a man entangled in the net.
Afterwards, the man's body was brought onto the boat by fishermen and transferred to Hoi Port, Sam Son (Thanh Hoa) and the Border Guard and local authorities were notified.
At 9pm the same day, local authorities and the fisherman's family came directly to confirm the identity. The identity was confirmed to be fisherman Pham Van Nam. Mr. Nam's body was brought back to his family at 3am on February 23.

The family is currently carrying out burial procedures according to local customs.
Previously, on February 19, fishing boat NA 94439, with a capacity of over 700 horsepower, captained by Mr. Dao Van Hung (born in 1979), residing in Hamlet 9, Quynh Thuan Commune, along with 18 fishermen, mainly from Quynh Long Commune, went out to sea to exploit seafood. By 4 a.m. on February 20, the crew did not see fisherman Pham Van Nam.
Immediately after that, the fishing boat owner reported to the Quynh Thuan Border Guard Station and local authorities to ask for help from the authorities to search. The People's Committee of Quynh Long commune mobilized 4 fishing boats of local fishermen to support the search.
Crew member Pham Van Nam (born 1987), has a wife and 2 small children. His wife does not have a stable job, Nam is the main breadwinner in the family. Immediately after receiving the news, local authorities visited and encouraged the family.
