Highland specialties are sold at Yen Hoa market (Tuong Duong)
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of December 24, Yen Hoa commune, the remote mountainous district of Tuong Duong held the opening ceremony of the local goods market. This is the first market in the inner commune, so it attracted thousands of people from all over to visit and shop.

From early morning, people of all ethnic groups in Yen Hoa and communes in the district came to buy, sell and exchange goods. At the market, each village, agency, unit and school in the commune was arranged a booth. It is estimated that there are over 20 booths.
The goods sold are mainly products produced, raised, gathered and hunted by local people and neighboring areas such as: mice, chickens, jicama, bamboo rice, moss, brocade... In addition, the market also has a number of stalls selling daily necessities such as: rattan trays, rattan chairs, pots, pans, baskets... and traditional foods of ethnic groups living in the area (Thai, Kho Mu).

The market is organized to create opportunities for people to introduce traditional local products, thereby contributing to creating more jobs, increasing income for workers, stimulating production development, maintaining and developing traditional occupations, and promoting economic development.
