Provincial People's Council delegates, term XVIII, met with voters in Quynh Luu, Ky Son

On the afternoon of July 27, delegates of the 18th Provincial People's Council, including Mr. Ho Le Ngoc - Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee; Mr. Duong Dinh Chinh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Director of the Department of Health; Mr. Ho Sy Nguyet - Vice Chairman of the Quynh Luu District People's Council, had a meeting with voters of communes and towns of Quynh Luu District before the 2nd session.

Delegates of the Provincial People's Council announced the expected program and content of the 2nd session of the 18th Provincial People's Council, term 2021-2026; Summary report on the socio-economic situation of the province in the first 6 months of 2021, key tasks and solutions for the last 6 months of 2021; Report on the results of voters' opinions and recommendations before and after the 17th session of the 5th Provincial People's Council, term 2016-2021.

Expressing their excitement at the results achieved by the province in various fields in the first 6 months of 2021, voters of Quynh Luu district had many opinions and proposals on issues such as: Paying attention to supporting funding for the construction of the road connecting National Highway 48B to Hamlet 1/5, Tan Thang Commune; upgrading Provincial Road 538; environmental pollution issues in stone quarries...

Voters also reflected on the slow issuance and exchange of land use right certificates according to digital maps; Requested to issue land use right certificates to households exchanging land to build village cultural houses; Strictly handle officials who violate land-related regulations. Soon put the Bac Nghe An Economic - Technical Vocational College, campus 2 in Quynh Hoa commune into operation.

After listening to voters' comments and suggestions, leaders of Quynh Luu District People's Committee responded and clarified a number of opinions within their authority.

On behalf of the Provincial People's Council delegates, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee Ho Le Ngoc thanked voters for their comments and at the same time accepted and responded to a number of recommendations within his authority.

Regarding issues beyond their authority, the delegates promised to convey voters' recommendations and proposals to the Provincial People's Council at the upcoming session.

Representatives of the Provincial People's Council reported to voters the results and contents of the first session, the agenda and expected time of the second session of the 18th Provincial People's Council; Report on the socio-economic development situation of the province in the first 6 months of the year and tasks and solutions for the last 6 months of 2021...

Voters in Bac Ly commune expressed their excitement at the achievements of the province, and at the same time, frankly reflected on many existing problems. Typically: the epidemic situation in livestock and poultry causing damage to farmers; the drug situation in the area is potentially complicated.

Voters also recommended that all levels have appropriate policies for part-time officials; support cement for communes to build new rural areas; build embankments to prevent flash floods from Bac Ly Primary School to kindergarten...

After listening to the opinions and recommendations of voters, the provincial and district People's Council delegates and local authorities noted and explained some opinions of voters within their authority. The opinions and recommendations beyond their authority will be noted by the provincial and district People's Council delegates and will be forwarded to the relevant agencies for consideration and explanation to voters in the next meeting.

On this occasion, Mr. Nguyen Hong Son - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Farmers' Association and leaders of Ky Son district presented 8 gifts to war invalids, sick soldiers, and people with revolutionary contributions in Bac Ly, Huoi Tu and Ta Ca communes on the occasion of War Invalids and Martyrs Day, July 27.
