National Assembly deputies meet voters of Nam Dan district before the 4th session of the 15th National Assembly
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of October 11, in Nam Giang commune (Nam Dan), elected XV National Assembly deputies in constituency No. 4 met with voters in the communes of Nam Giang, Nam Linh and Nam Cat before the 4th session of the XV National Assembly.

Also attending were comrade Thai Thi An Chung - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Deputy Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Nghe An province; leaders of a number of departments, branches and Nam Dan district.

At the conference, Mr. Phan Trong Hai, a voter of Nam Giang commune, proposed that the National Assembly and the Government continue to pay attention to early investment in expanding National Highway 46 from Cau Muou (adjacent to Hung Nguyen district), through Kim Lien commune and up to Nam Dan town. This is an important traffic route but is currently a two-way, narrow road, not meeting traffic requirements and realizing the goal of building Nam Dan into a model new rural district in the direction of cultural development associated with tourism according to Decision 17 of the Prime Minister.

Voter Doan Thi Oanh in Nam Cat commune stated that in Nam Dan district, there are many headquarters of state agencies and armed forces units that are abandoned because they have been moved to build new headquarters; many headquarters of communes, towns, schools, cultural houses of hamlets, blocks... are no longer in use due to the implementation of the policy of merging administrative units; however, the liquidation of these types of public assets faces many difficulties and obstacles, greatly affecting the attraction of investment for socio-economic development and local aesthetics. Therefore, the female voter requested the National Assembly and the Government to soon have policies to remove these obstacles.

Along with that, Ms. Oanh proposed that the National Assembly soon implement a policy of raising salaries for cadres, civil servants, and public employees in the political system and armed forces... at the same time, increase the allowance level for non-professional cadres at the commune, block, and hamlet levels.
At the conference, Mr. Le Duy Phu - Head of Nam Giang Commune Health Station (Nam Dan) said that, in the face of the situation where medical staff in the health sector not only at the provincial and central levels, but also at the commune level have quit their jobs, leading to difficulties in taking care of people's health. Therefore, he suggested paying attention to the salary policy for the health sector staff, including the medical staff at the grassroots level.

In addition, at the conference, voters from localities also requested that the Central Government should focus on directing and further promoting the fight against corruption, waste, and negativity at the provincial, district, and communal levels, because currently the Central Government is implementing very strongly, but localities still have many limitations; at the same time, it is requested that the National Assembly should amend and supplement the penalty framework for corruption, waste, and negativity to be very severe and strict to deter and educate; at the same time, there should be solutions to develop agriculture effectively, avoid abandoning land; along with some contents related to traffic infrastructure, flood prevention in the area; input material prices for agricultural production are increasing, while output is unstable, so solutions are needed...

On behalf of the elected delegates in constituency No. 4, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Nghe An province Thai Thanh Quy informed voters about the results of the 6th Central Conference (term XIII), the socio-economic situation of the whole country and Nghe An province.
In particular, in the context of the country's rapid economic recovery and development, highly appreciated by the international community, Nghe An has also achieved many important results in socio-economic recovery and development.

The Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation also specifically answered voters' recommendations related to groups of issues that voters are interested in, in which, regarding traffic infrastructure, the province is currently coordinating with the Ministry of Transport to research and survey to report to the Government and the Prime Minister on the planned expressway connecting from the North-South expressway in the East to Thanh Thuy Border Gate (Thanh Chuong), including the route going through Nam Dan, connecting to Kim Lien.
In addition, the Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation informed voters about the province's leadership and direction on the implementation of policies and regimes, increasing allowances for block, hamlet and village officials, and the work of preventing and combating corruption, waste and negativity. Previously, leaders of a number of relevant departments and branches responded and clarified the contents under their authority.

On this occasion, on behalf of the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the Central Relief Committee and delegates in the National Assembly Delegation of the province, comrade Do Van Chien - Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front presented Nam Dan district with 10 great solidarity houses and 50 gifts with a total value of 560 million VND and presented 10 gifts to 10 households in Nam Giang commune that were severely affected by the circulation of the recent storm No. 4, to share the difficulties and damages caused by floods in Nam Dan district.
