Vinh University won first prize in the 2018 Nghe An Province English Olympic Competition
(Baonghean.vn) - On the evening of October 7, the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee coordinated with the Provincial Student Association to organize the Final Round of the "Nghe An Province English Olympic Competition 2018".
With the theme "Mastering English - Confident integration", 4 teams: Vinh City, Vinh University, Hung Nguyen and the Provincial Youth Union of the Provincial Party Committees have excellently surpassed 8 teams competing in the qualifying round.

At the final night, 4 teams competed together in 4 exciting rounds: Warm-up, overcoming obstacles, acceleration and finishing. With diverse competition formats, combining online quizzes and real-life experiences of the contestants, along with rich content, it created appeal and attraction through each round.

In addition to mastering and using English fluently, contestants have the opportunity to maximize their ability to improvise, teamwork skills and handle situations - these are necessary factors for students, university students and youth union members in international integration.

The "Nghe An Province English Olympic Competition 2018" was first organized by the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee as a useful playground, contributing to creating a widespread English learning movement, changing the awareness of young people in using and learning English.

At the end of the competition, the Organizing Committee awarded the first prize to Vinh University team, the second prize to Vinh City team, the third prize to the Provincial Youth Union and Hung Nguyen teams; and awarded scholarships to the remaining 8 teams.
