The Congress of Delegates of Do Luong District Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term opened its preparatory session.

The Congress was attended by 259 official delegates representing more than 10,710 party members of 72 grassroots party organizations in the entire Party Committee. Attending and directing the preparatory session of the Congress were representatives of the Party Building Committees of the Provincial Party Committee.

Speaking at the opening session of the Congress, Comrade Phung Thanh Vinh - Secretary of Do Luong District Party Committee asked delegates to promote their sense of responsibility, focus on discussions, contribute their intelligence, unify the contents, and contribute to the successful organization of the Congress.

The Congress elected the Presidium of 7 comrades, the Secretariat of 2 comrades and the Delegate Qualification Examination Board of 9 comrades. The Congress voted to approve the Program, Working Regulations and Congress Rules.

The Congress Presidium also disseminated a number of main contents of the Party's Election Regulations, reported on the synthesis of comments on the Draft Documents to be submitted to the 13th National Congress of the Party; and reported on the synthesis of comments on the Draft Political Report to be submitted to the 19th Provincial Party Congress, term 2020 - 2025.

The contents of comments on the Document are based on practice, ensuring scientific and procedural qualities, promoting democracy, and exploiting the intelligence of cadres and party members at all levels in the district. Many opinions highly agree with the work of preventing and combating corruption in recent times and propose that the Provincial Party Committee and the Central Party Committee continue to strengthen this work, contributing to increasing the trust of the masses in the Party Committee and the government.

At the same time, the comments also suggested that all levels continue to synchronously innovate solutions to improve the quality of education; promote vocational training associated with job creation and improve people's lives.

The Congress also discussed the Draft Action Program to implement the Resolution of the 21st District Party Congress; thoroughly grasped and agreed on a number of contents on election work, rituals and activities of delegates. The official session of the Do Luong District Party Congress will take place on August 15 with many important contents.

Implementing the Resolution of the 20th District Party Congress, term 2015 - 2020, Do Luong district has achieved many important results in all fields. The average annual economic growth rate reached 11.83%, the economic structure shifted in a positive direction.

Urban areas have improved, rural areas have been increasingly renewed, and people's material and spiritual lives have been increasingly improved. In 2020, the average income per capita is expected to reach more than 55 million VND, an increase of nearly 25 million VND compared to the beginning of the term; the poverty rate is expected to be below 2%. Political security is ensured, local defense is maintained; the political system is constantly consolidated and strengthened.
