Party Congress of Hong Son Commune (Do Luong) for the term 2020 - 2025

On the morning of June 3, the Party Committee of Hong Son commune (Do Luong) held the Congress for the 2020 - 2025 term.

Attending the Congress were comrades: Nguyen Minh Hanh - Member of the District Party Committee, Head of the District Party Committee's Propaganda Department, Director of the District Political Training Center; Hoang Huu Hung - Vice Chairman of the District People's Council; Nguyen Dinh Khuong - Chairman of the Inspection Committee of Do Luong District Party Committee.

At the Congress, comrade Nguyen Canh Minh - Secretary of the Commune Party Committee presented the Political Report for the 2015 - 2020 term. During the past term, the Party Committee directed the Commune People's Committee to actively propagate and mobilize people to change the structure of crops and livestock, invest in expanding the area of ​​farm models, develop livestock and poultry, and create products to supply the market.

Many economic models continue to develop such as: Raising black apple snails, field crabs, hill chickens, processing turmeric starch, growing fruit trees for high income... Livestock farming develops in the direction of family farms. The output of grain food at the end of the term reached nearly 1,800 tons.

Along with developing agricultural production, the Party Committee - People's Committee of Hong Son commune has led, directed, mobilized and encouraged people to invest in developing small-scale industries and services to create jobs and increase income for local people. In addition, the commune has mobilized and guided families with children of working age to participate in labor export and work in companies in and outside the province.

Currently, Hong Son commune has completed 13/19 criteria for new rural construction, striving to achieve 19/19 criteria for new rural construction by 2021.

Develop commercial and reproductive cattle, buffalo, pig and goat farming, including semi-industrial poultry farming combined with developing hill garden economy, planting fruit trees, raw material trees and timber trees to exploit all potentials and advantages of land and labor. Expand and develop service types; form key services such as eel, crab, snail, fruit to supply markets inside and outside the commune. Encourage people to actively promote the advantages of labor export to solve employment and increase income.

After one term, Hong Son commune's economy has developed in the right direction, people's lives have been gradually improved, infrastructure has been invested in, education, culture and society have received attention. The political system is stable; national defense - security and social order and safety have been maintained. For many consecutive years, Hong Son commune's Party Committee has been recognized as a strong and clean Party Committee.

Speaking at the Congress, Comrade Hoang Huu Hung - Vice Chairman of the People's Council of Do Luong district highlighted the achievements of the Party Committee of Hong Son commune in the past term, and at the same time requested the Party Committee of the commune to continue to focus on directing the exploitation of land funds to develop the forest garden economy both in the short term and in the long term in terms of raw materials, timber trees, and valuable medicinal plants. In addition, combine livestock and poultry farming. Particularly, low-lying areas will be utilized to develop aquaculture. Strengthen the direction of promoting resources to build new rural areas. Focus on building the Party and the political system increasingly stronger.

In the coming term, the Party Committee and people of Hong Son commune are determined to successfully implement the targets of the Congress Resolution, including focusing on the growth of industry, handicrafts, and services; increasing the average income per capita by 2025 to 52 million VND/year; reducing the poverty rate to below 2%; continuing to invest in infrastructure, improving the quality of teaching and learning, striving to build kindergartens and primary schools that meet national standards at level 2; striving for 85% of families to achieve the title of Cultural Family. Admitting 20-22 new party members; every year the Party Committee and the commune government complete their tasks well or better.

The Executive Committee of the Party Committee of Hong Son commune (Do Luong) for the 2020 - 2025 term was introduced to receive its tasks.

The Congress voted to elect the new Executive Committee of 14 comrades and elected a delegation to attend the Do Luong District Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term. Comrade Tang Van Cuong was elected to hold the position of Secretary of the Hong Son Commune Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.
