Voice of Vietnam Radio presents gifts to poor students overcoming difficulties in Yen Thanh district
(Baonghean.vn) - Towards the 74th anniversary of the August Revolution - National Day September 2 and the 74th anniversary of the establishment of the Voice of Vietnam, on the afternoon of August 30, the Voice of Vietnam presented 200 gifts to poor but excellent students of Yen Thanh district.
Attending the ceremony were Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen The Ky - Member of the Party Central Committee, General Director of Voice of Vietnam; Journalist Dang Quang Phuong - Editor-in-Chief of Voice of Vietnam Newspaper.

The recipients of this gift are 200 students in the area studying at primary, secondary and high schools with difficult circumstances who have strived to excel in their studies. Each student received a gift of 500,000 VND, the total value of the cash gifts is 100 million VND.
This is the amount of support and contribution from the salaries of officers, editors, reporters, technicians, artists and employees of Voice of Vietnam Radio and Voice of Vietnam Newspaper in the past time.

Speaking at the ceremony, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen The Ky hoped that the students would use the gifts meaningfully, serve their studies, continue to strive to overcome difficulties, study well, become useful people for society, and contribute to further enhancing the tradition of studiousness and good study of their heroic homeland./.
