Tan Thang Commune Party Committee (Quynh Luu) held the 4th Congress, term 2020 - 2025

In the cultural and social fields, 86% of households have achieved the title of cultural family, 8/10 villages have been recognized as cultural villages; the quality of education and training has been improved, the secondary school graduation rate has reached 97%; health care for the people and social issues have been given attention and implemented well; national defense and security have been maintained.

Implementing the national target program on building new rural areas, the commune has invested in building technical infrastructure systems to serve production and people's lives, and the new rural appearance of the mountainous commune has improved a lot. The total resources mobilized for building new rural areas during the term is more than 80 billion VND, of which 14.2 billion VND is from the budget, people's contributions, self-investment and other combined sources are nearly 66 billion VND.

Party building work was focused on and during the term, 19 new party members were admitted, including 9 ethnic minority party members, accounting for 37.5%; leaders of the Fatherland Front and mass organizations completed their tasks well or better.

Promoting the achieved results, in the 2020 - 2025 term, the Tan Thang Commune Party Committee sets out the direction and goal of mobilizing all resources to the maximum, innovating thinking, daring to think and dare to do to develop quickly and sustainably in all fields, creating breakthroughs in a number of key issues such as socio-economic infrastructure, agriculture, services, small-scale industry, education and training, improving the quality of new rural criteria; closely combining economic development with maintaining political security, order and social safety.

The commune has set out a number of specific targets by 2025, such as: total production value reaching over 276 billion VND; average economic growth rate in 5 years reaching 11-12%; average crop production value reaching 92.79 million VND/ha/year; average income per capita from 65-70 million VND/year; State budget revenue increasing annually by 12-13%; rate of cultural families reaching 90.4%; poverty rate by 2025 below 2.5%.

In the spirit of democratic centralism, the Congress elected the Executive Committee of the Tan Thang Commune Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term, consisting of 13 comrades. Comrade Phan Tien Dung - Chairman of the Commune People's Committee was elected to hold the position of Secretary of the Commune Party Committee, term IV. The Congress also elected 4 delegates to attend the 28th District Party Congress.
