Quickly repair the burned Hieu market communal house

After hearing the announcement of the expected agenda of the 7th session of the 14th National Assembly, voters of Hoa Hieu ward had 17 comments to reflect to National Assembly delegates and local authorities.

Voter Bui Thi Hoan, a trader at Hieu market, said that the market fire on the night of April 24 and early morning of April 25 burned down the kiosks of about 30 traders, the most affected household suffered from 500-700 million VND, the least from 50-70 million VND, and requested a solution to repair the burned market so that they could soon return to business and stabilize their lives.

Responding to voters’ opinions, Mr. Nguyen Kim Hai - Chairman of Hoa Hieu Ward People’s Committee said that the fire burned down 46 kiosks of nearly 30 households. Authorities have begun investigating the cause and are awaiting the conclusion.

Immediately after the market fire, cleanup work was carried out. The ward is preparing a technical economic report for appraisal, approval and to proceed with the repair of the burnt market No. 3 this week.

The town People's Committee held an extraordinary meeting and decided to support 50 million VND for the traders who suffered losses. On behalf of the delegates, Deputy Head of the National Assembly Delegation of the province Tran Van Mao received and responded to the voters' opinions, in which with the proposal to reconsider the increase in electricity prices, the Prime Minister requested the Government Inspectorate to preside over and coordinate with the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Industry and Trade and relevant agencies to inspect the adjustment of electricity prices, price calculation methods and electricity collection in the past time, clarify the rights and wrongs and report to the Prime Minister in June 2019.
