On the morning of April 15, the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front held an online conference with 63 provinces and cities nationwide to evaluate the results of the first phase of inspection and supervision of the implementation of the election of deputies to the 15th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2021-2026 term; and at the same time deploy the second phase of inspection and supervision tasks. Implement the right content and progress
According to the synthesis from the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, from March 19 to March 31, the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front organized 5 inspection and supervision delegations.electorin 16 provinces and cities nationwide, including Nghe An.
Through inspection and supervision, the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front affirmed that the implementation and dissemination of directive documents and regulations related to election work were carried out seriously, fully and widely by localities throughout the entire political system from provincial to grassroots levels.

The implementation of contents and tasks in election preparation work is closely followed by localities to implement according to requirements and prescribed timelines.
The establishment of election organizations must comply with the prescribed structure, composition, number, and time frame, and the activities of election organizations must comply with their duties and powers.
Implementation of regulations onnegotiationIntroduce candidates for the National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels democratically, publicly, legally, and create high consensus and unanimity.

Localities focus on receiving citizens, receiving, processing, classifying, and resolving complaints and denunciations related to elections. Of the 16 provinces inspected and monitored, 7 provinces had complaints and denunciations.
Localities have also proactively organized inspection teams to monitor election preparations down to the commune level. Nghe An province alone has had 9 inspection teams from the provincial steering committee and election committee.
The Standing Committee of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee organized 5 inspection and supervision teams in 20/21 districts, cities, towns and 22 communes. Similarly, the district and commune level Fatherland Front also paid attention to this work at the grassroots level.

Strengthening election inspection and supervision
Based on the results of the first round of inspection and supervision and on the contents and tasks of the election work from now until the election day on May 23, comrade Ngo Sach Thuc - Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front emphasized a number of requirements for localities.
It is noted that the third consultative conference needs to be organized carefully and democratically, ensuring the structure and balance according to regulations and announcing and posting the official list of candidates on time; organizing election campaign activities for candidates to ensure democracy, equality and compliance with the law.

At the same time, the provinces also need to focus on reviewing the members of the election committee and election team, and absolutely not allowing candidates to participate in the election committee or election team.
Localities also need to proactively implement plans to inspect and supervise the second round of elections. In particular, the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front plans to inspect and supervise 18 provinces and cities in this second round.
At the same time, we need to pay attention to training on election work for election teams, ensuring the success of the election on May 23 in each locality and nationwide.

After the conference of the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, comradeVo Thi Minh Sinh- Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee also raised a number of issues that have been recorded through the province's inspection and supervision; at the same time, noted 5 tasks that need to be focused on from now until the election day.
In particular, the local Fatherland Front is required to grasp the regulations and requirements of the law in the election work as well as proactively inspect and supervise the election work, grasp the people's situation to advise and propose to the steering committee and election committee at the same level for timely direction.

Continue to check, monitor, review, and correct missing or incorrect information in the voter list; at the same time, organize the third consultative conference, announce and post the list of candidates, and organize candidates to campaign for elections in accordance with the law.
Emphasizing that if there are errors in the election work, they cannot be corrected, repaired, or redone, but can only be learned from for the next election term, the Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee suggested that the Fatherland Front at all levels should strengthen inspection, supervision and forecast possible situations to proactively train; in which, focusing on training and building specific scenarios for election teams to operate on election day.
