Among the 13 officers and soldiers who died while rescuing victims in Rao Trang 3, there were 4 sons of Nghe An. Among them, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Tien Dung (born in 1979), Nghi Long commune, Nghi Loc district, Deputy Head of the Operations Department, General Staff, Military Region 4 will be buried at Nghi Loc district martyrs cemetery tomorrow. The remaining three martyrs are Lieutenant Colonel Le Tat Thang (born in 1978) - Deputy Brigade Commander, Chief of Staff of Brigade 80, Military Region 4; Major Nguyen Canh Cuong (born in 1991) - Captain of Company 6, Battalion 2, Brigade 80, Military Region 4 and Captain Dinh Van Trung (born in 1984), of Company 6, Battalion 2, Brigade 80, Military Region 4, buried at Vinh City Martyrs Cemetery. On October 18, after the funeral and memorial services in Hue City, the coffins of the martyrs were transferred to their hometowns early this morning.
