(Baonghean.vn) - Hong Coc Dam is a fairly large irrigation lake, about 2km upstream from Dai Tue Pagoda, close to the densely populated area of Nam Thanh Commune, Nam Dan District. However, in broad daylight, there are a series of large and small trucks coming in and out to "eat" the land.
Based on reports from local people, on the morning of September 19, 2023, Nghe An Newspaper reporters and some functional officials present at the Hong Coc dam area recorded the problem of "land bandits" in Nam Dan district. Below are some images of "land bandits" on the Hong Coc dam bed.
Due to prolonged drought, the Hong Coc dam has been dry for many days, becoming a destination for "land bandits". Photo: PVAt 9:00 a.m. on September 19, inside the Hong Coc dam, there was an excavator and 6 trucks of various sizes, including a large truck "eating" soil. Photo: PVThe "construction site" of excavating and transporting soil was still bustling after about an hour. Large and small vehicles lined up in order, waiting for their turn to "eat" soil. Then, they called vehicles to come and "eat" the soil and leave the Hong Coc dam. Photo: PVThe heavy-duty truck voluntarily "returned the soil" to the Hong Coc dam bed to leave at 10:09 am. The current state of the Hong Coc dam with holes also shows that the people's reflection is correct. Photo: PV
