The Department of Natural Resources and Environment is assigned to manage many fields directly related to people and businesses, especially land, minerals, environment, climate change... These are sensitive, complicated fields that can easily give rise to frustration and hot spots.

Meanwhile, the legal policy system in the field of natural resources and environment is constantly changing, so to do a good job of State management, it is necessary to promote propaganda work, raise awareness, sense of responsibility and behavior of organizations and individuals in this field.

In recent times, the coordination between the Department of Natural Resources and Environment and Nghe An Newspaper has been quite regular and effective. Every month, the two sides coordinate to promote a special page and a number of topics on the environment; promote the Law and a number of Government Decrees on land; coordinate in handling complaints, denunciations and reflections from organizations and individuals in the field.

Based on the evaluation of the results of cooperation in the past time, the two sides also discussed the program of coordination in propaganda on natural resources and environment for the period 2017 - 2020. Accordingly, based on the functions and tasks of each agency, the two sides coordinated to exchange and propagate policies and laws on natural resources and environment as well as management activities of the Natural Resources and Environment sector.

At the same time, coordinate information, process petitions and feedback from organizations and individuals related to natural resources and environment; coordinate the construction of a library of legal documents on natural resources and environment to post and update on Nghe An Electronic Newspaper and the electronic information portal of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, comrades Pham Thi Hong Toan and Vo Duy Viet both clearly affirmed the view that coordination between the two agencies must be carried out in the spirit of "building" as the main objective and "fighting" also for the purpose of "building"; contributing to raising awareness and sense of responsibility of people and businesses in complying with legal regulations, ensuring all activities related to natural resources and environment in accordance with the law, protecting the interests of people and businesses, contributing to peace of mind, maintaining social order and safety, promoting the overall socio-economic development of the province.
