Prostitution spot at Dien Thanh beach (Dien Chau) is now destroyed

Dien Thanh beach is one of the most famous tourist destinations in Dien Chau district. However, in recent years, the situation of prostitution and prostitution brokerage at this beach has become complicated, causing many consequences for society and resentment among the masses.

According to the reporter's investigation, some shops at Dien Thanh beach under the guise of seafood and beverage restaurants also provide prostitution services. The shabby, damp level 4 rooms built behind the shops are used by the subjects to carry out illegal acts of buying and selling sex.

Starting from March 23, Dien Chau District Police coordinated with Dien Thanh Commune authorities, Dien Thanh Border Guard Station and functional forces to organize a synchronous peak attack. Accordingly, Dien Chau District directed functional forces to strengthen their surveillance of the area, regularly organize patrols and control in Dien Thanh beach area. Resolutely handle violations strictly, completely eliminate prostitution at Dien Thanh beach.

Ms. Ho Thi Tam - Chairman of Dien Thanh Commune People's Committee said: "At Dien Thanh beach, there are about 100 business kiosks and prostitution has been taking place at some stalls in recent times. Every year, the commune organizes propaganda and reminder campaigns but the effectiveness is not high. However, in this campaign, the forces of Dien Chau district and the commune will take drastic action with high determination to eliminate prostitution".

Previously, since March 15, Dien Chau district has also launched a campaign to eliminate prostitution at Hon Cau tourist area, Dien Hai commune. According to the reporter's records, prostitution here has basically ended.
