Husband stabbed to death by wife after coming home drunk
Information from the People's Committee of Chau Loc commune, Quy Hop district said that a murder case had just occurred in the area, leaving one person dead.
According to initial information, at around 11:00 p.m. on June 22, Mr. Sam Van Q. (born in 1963), residing in Chau Loc commune, came home drunk and had a conflict with his wife, Nguyen Thi Dung (born in 1967).
During the argument that led to a fight, the wife used a knife to stab Mr. Q. in the chest. After seeing Mr. Q. collapse on the floor, Mrs. Dung and her son took the victim to the hospital for emergency treatment. However, due to the severity of his injuries, Mr. Q. later died.
According to information, after Mr. Q. died, Mrs. Dung took her husband home to arrange the funeral. The next day, Mrs. Dung reported the incident to relatives and local authorities. The police then intervened and persuaded the family to open the coffin for investigation, and the wife confessed to stabbing her husband, leading to his death.
Currently, the case is being further investigated by Quy Hop District Police.
