Immediately afterwards, Dien Chau District Veterinary Station took samples for testing and the results were positive for H5N6. On February 13 and 14, after receiving the results, the district coordinated with hamlets and communes to destroy the entire flock of over 3,000 birds and 500 poultry eggs according to regulations.

Veterinary staff organized the destruction of infected chickens at Mr. Le Van Phong's family farm, hamlet 23, Dien Phu commune.

Along with isolating the outbreak, we conducted widespread information on the loudspeaker system and sprayed 60 liters of benkocit chemical to disinfect, and injected 27,000 doses of H5N1 vaccine in hamlet 23 and neighboring hamlets.

It is known that Mr. Phong's family has specialized in raising industrial chickens for many years in a closed process. Currently, Dien Chau district has not detected any new outbreaks.
