(Baonghean.vn) - In the face of the complicated developments of the Covid-19 epidemic in Nghe An province, to ensure safe and stable power supply for the 2021 National High School Graduation Exam in the city, the leaders of Nghe An Electricity Company have directed its affiliated Power Companies to proactively develop specific and detailed power supply plans for each area and each exam location in the area; at the same time, there must be a backup plan for the worst case scenario.
The 2021 High School Graduation Exam is a particularly important exam for 12th graders, scheduled to be held from July 6 to 8 nationwide. In the province, it is expected that there will be about 34,000 candidates, 68 exam sites and more than 1,400 exam rooms, including 120 backup exam rooms. Up to this point, Nghe An has finalized the plan for the 2021 High School Graduation Exam.
This year, the exam took place in extremely hot weather conditions, with high demand for electricity, especially the complicated developments of the Covid-19 epidemic, causing significant difficulties for management and operation as well as ensuring electricity supply in the province.

According to the direction, arrange for additional staff to be on duty 24/24 hours during exam days to ensure quick handling when incidents occur; The remote control center monitors and does not carry out planned power outages on power lines and substations that affect exam councils serving enrollment work and exam locations in the area, except in cases of power outages to handle incidents.
In addition, increase the number of shifts to check and patrol the cable corridors supplying key stations, to prevent incidents due to violations of the cable corridors; prepare sufficient forces, materials, equipment, and means to promptly handle incidents, or quickly switch to backup methods to restore power to exam locations when incidents occur.

In addition, the Company has directed its affiliated Power Companies to proactively work and coordinate with local Examination Councils to grasp the list, time, location and power supply needs at examination venues, working locations of Steering Committees and Examination Councils to develop and implement priority plans to ensure power supply. Ensure that 100% of examination sites must have backup generators and be ready to operate to ensure power supply when an incident occurs.
