Nghe An Electricity performs well in its task of ensuring safe and stable electricity supply throughout the 2024 National High School Graduation Exam.
On June 27-28, 2024, the 2024 High School Graduation Exam took place nationwide, which is a particularly important exam for 12th graders. In Nghe An province, there were more than 36,000 candidates taking the exam at 70 exam locations. Nghe An Electricity Company ensured safe, stable and continuous electricity supply to serve the exam well.

This year, the high school graduation exam took place in hot and humid weather conditions; the demand for electricity increased, and the electricity supply faced many difficulties. Under the direction of the People's Committee of Nghe An province and the Northern Power Corporation, Nghe An Power Company proactively implemented a plan to ensure safe and stable electricity supply for the 2024 high school graduation exam in the whole province.

Previously, Nghe An Power Company directed its affiliated units to strengthen inspection, detect and promptly handle defects in power source equipment, power grid, 110kV substation, SCADA system, and lighting system to ensure safety of power line corridors to prevent incidents in power system operation. Arrange the method of power source and power grid operation to ensure safety and reliability under normal conditions and flexibly switch in case of incidents.
During the exam days, Nghe An Electricity Company will not conduct planned power outages and repairs on power lines and transformer stations that affect the examination council serving the admission work and examination locations in the area, except in cases of force majeure.

In addition, the company has directed its affiliated Power Companies to proactively work and coordinate with local Examination Councils to grasp the list, time, location and power supply needs at examination venues, working locations of Steering Committees and Admission Councils. Establish and implement priority plans to ensure power supply.
Ensure that 100% of examination sites have backup generators and are ready to operate to ensure power supply in case of an incident. Arrange on-duty personnel, spare equipment, fuel, communication systems and vehicles to ensure timely handling of incidents. Provide additional on-duty personnel for leaders, on-duty personnel to operate and repair electricity 24/7 during the examination days.

Since the beginning of June 2024, the company has developed and implemented a power supply plan for the 2024 high school graduation exam with the goal of ensuring safe, stable and continuous power supply. At the same time, the entire power grid has been reviewed to promptly detect, handle and fix weak points that are at risk of causing incidents, especially for power lines supplying exam locations, printing points, marking points and marking points. At each exam location, we have arranged staff on duty with full means and spare equipment, ensuring the fastest handling if an electrical incident occurs”.
By proactively developing plans and implementing specific measures, Nghe An Electricity Company has successfully fulfilled its task of ensuring safe, stable and continuous power supply for the 2024 high school graduation exam.
