Drowning a fisherman in a ditch to steal his motorbike
The perpetrator drowned a fishing man in a roadside ditch, stole the victim's motorbike and fled.

Regarding the case of a fisherman who died under unusual circumstances in a ditch and whose motorbike was stolen, on August 30, information from Bac Ninh Provincial Police said that the perpetrator had been arrested.
The suspect who killed a fisherman and stole his motorbike, Nguyen Van Long (born in 1989, Thai Hoa village, Phuc Hoa commune, Tan Yen district, Bac Giang province), was arrested while on the run in Lang Giang district, Bac Giang province.
According to the suspect's initial statement, at around 6 p.m. on August 26, while passing a roadside ditch in Dong Thon village, Dong Tien commune, Yen Phong district, Long saw a man fishing alone, with a Honda Dream motorbike next to him, and had the intention of robbing him. However, the man resisted, so Long pushed him into the ditch, drowned him, then took the motorbike on the bank and fled.
The victim was identified as Mr. Nguyen Van Nam (born in 1954, in Trung Ban village, Cho town, Yen Phong district). Late that evening, Mr. Nam did not return for dinner, so his family and relatives split up to look for him.
Mr. Nam’s son went to his father’s familiar fishing spot in Dong Thon village, Dong Tien commune to look for his father but only found his fishing rod and personal belongings. However, the victim’s motorbike, which he had brought with him when fishing, was not found at the scene.
Mr. Nam’s son jumped into the lake to search for his father and found his body. Immediately after, the incident was reported to the authorities and the authorities organized an investigation of the scene and arrested the perpetrator.
