Do Luong has a new Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee

On the morning of December 17, the People's Council of Do Luong district opened its 13th session. Attending the meeting were comrade Ngoc Kim Nam - Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission and representatives of the Provincial People's Council.

At the meeting, the district People's Council delegates unanimously elected him.Tran Van Hien - Member of the District Party Committee, term 2020-2025, holding the position of Vice Chairman of Do Luong District People's Committee term 2016-2021.

The meeting assessed the socio-economic situation in Do Luong district in 2020 with outstanding results: Total product growth rate reached 8.46%; Total production value is estimated at 14.4 billion VND, up 9.58% compared to 2019. Average added value per capita reached 54 million VND/person/year, up 3.32 million VND compared to 2019. Although affected by the impact of the Covid-19 epidemic, industry and handicrafts were maintained, attracting over 12,000 workers.

The district is also actively implementing investment attraction projects and promoting new rural construction. It is expected that by the end of 2020, 5 more communes will reach the new rural finish line.
