On the morning of July 23, towards the 72nd anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2019), Comrade Cao Thi Hien - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council led a delegation to offer incense and flowers at the Nghi Loc District Martyrs' Cemetery and presented gifts to 2 relatives of martyrs in Nghi Loc District and 2 Vietnamese Heroic Mothers in Cua Lo Town. Accompanying the delegation were representatives of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, Provincial Police, Provincial Military Command, relevant departments and branches; leaders of Nghi Loc District and Cua Lo Town. Mrs. Vinh is the wife of martyr Le Thanh Dong, who died in 1968; she has 3 children, 2 sons live far away, the daughter is married and lives separately. In Cua Lo town, Comrade Cao Thi Hien and members of the delegation visited and presented gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mother Nguyen Thi Que (107 years old) in Hamlet 8, Resettlement Area in Nghi Huong Ward. Mother Que had 2 sons who died in the resistance war against the US to save the country, one of them was a war invalid, her health is now very weak and she lives with her youngest daughter, Mrs. Phung Thi Lien. Thanh's mother lost two children and is currently living with her youngest son who has a mental illness. Life is difficult and deprived.
