Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Nhu Khoi attended the Great Unity Day in Thai Hoa town

National Great Unity Dayin residential areas and the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam National United Front - the traditional day of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (November 18, 1930 - November 18, 2024) in the Intermediate block was held on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the founding of the block.

The Intermediate Block is located in the center of Thai Hoa town, with 374 households and more than 1,500 people. Over the years, taking advantage of its location, the people in the block have gradually shifted their economic structure from agriculture to business, trade, services, housing rental, construction industry, transportation services; developing the agricultural product processing industry, raising livestock and poultry with high economic value, meeting market demand.

Thanks to that, people's lives are increasingly stable and developed both materially and spiritually. Currently, the number of well-off and rich households in the block is over 75%, there are only 2 near-poor households, all families have well implemented the policies of the Party and the State; practiced a civilized lifestyle; complied with the conventions and village regulations set out by the block. The rate of cultural families is 95%; the rate of sports families is 46%.

Attending and sharing the Great Unity Day with the people of the Intermediate Block, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Nhu Khoi was pleased with the results that the people in the block have achieved, making the block a "livable place" of Thai Hoa town.

Comrade Nguyen Nhu Khoi also reiterated the significance of celebrating the traditional day of the Vietnam Fatherland Front - National Great Unity Day in residential areas.

This is an opportunity to promote patriotic emulation movements and campaigns, to revive the heroic and glorious tradition of our nation in building and defending the Fatherland. At the same time, it is an opportunity to honor the cultural titles of the community and effectively carry out the Campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas" associated with movements to help each other develop the economy, eliminate hunger and reduce poverty.

In the coming time, to continue promoting the tradition of patriotic and revolutionary emulation and the results achieved in the past year, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council suggested that people in the bloc need to continue to carry out the Campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas" well, and take care of the cause of great national unity.

At the same time, many models and examples have been built in various areas of social life to contribute to the successful implementation of local economic, social and new rural construction goals.

Promote the tradition of "When drinking water, remember its source", the spirit of mutual love and support, create conditions to help war invalids, families of martyrs, and people with meritorious services to the revolution. The community promotes democracy, maintains discipline, everyone lives and works according to the Constitution and the law; well implements the regulations on grassroots democracy. All people participate in the movement to prevent and combat crimes, social evils, and protect national security.

On this occasion, comrade Nguyen Nhu Khoi presented gifts from the Provincial Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Provincial Fatherland Front Committee to the people of the Intermediate Block, and presented 10 gifts to disadvantaged families in Long Son ward./.
