The central working delegation inspected the program of coordinating mass mobilization work of the armed forces of Hung Nguyen district.

The working delegation included comrades: Major General Ngo Thanh Hai, Director of the Department of Mass Mobilization, General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army; Colonel Nguyen The Chi, Deputy Director of the Department of Building the Movement to Protect National Security, Ministry of Public Security; Do Van Dung, Chief of Office of the Central Committee for Mass Mobilization.

On the side of Military Region 4, there was comrade Thai Duc Hanh - Deputy Director of the Political Department of Military Region 4.

On the side of Nghe An province, there were comrade Hoang Nghia Hieu - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; representatives of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission, the Provincial Fatherland Front, the Provincial Military Command; the Provincial Police and comrades of the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee, People's Committee, People's Council of Hung Nguyen district and leaders of the armed forces in the area.

At the working session, on behalf of the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee, Secretary of the Hung Nguyen District Party Committee Nguyen Thi Thom briefly reported the results of the implementation of the Program for coordinating mass mobilization work of the armed forces in 2023, and the directions and tasks for 2024 to the inspection delegation.

Accordingly, in 2022 and the first 8 months of 2023, implementing the program of coordinating the mass mobilization work of the armed forces, the Party Committee and the District Military Command have led and directed the district armed forces to organize and carry out mass mobilization work well; actively and proactively coordinate closely with agencies, departments, branches and organizations to do a good job of propaganda and mobilization for the people and officers and soldiers to implement the Party's policies and the State's laws and policies, grasp the situation and advise on how to properly resolve issues arising at the grassroots level, avoiding being passive and surprised, contributing to maintaining political stability and social order and safety in the area; building a strong political system, developing the economy and society; building a comprehensively strong unit "exemplary model".

Proactively advise on the issuance of coordination regulations, regularly exchange and coordinate with the District Military Command and relevant sectors and organizations to effectively implement mass mobilization work in the locality, contributing to better ensuring security and order and serving socio-economic development, joining hands in building the New Rural Area.

Actively and effectively deploy the mass mobilization program in general, build and maintain the "Smart Mass Mobilization" model in the work of ensuring security and order in particular to operate effectively. Through implementation, it has contributed to raising awareness and actions of sectors and levels about the meaning, position and role of mass mobilization in ensuring security and order in the area. The situation of religious security and rural security is increasingly stable, solidarity among the people, between the people and the Party Committee, the government and the police force is increasingly close.

At the meeting, the chair and members of the working delegation requested the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee, the District Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee and the armed forces in the area to clarify some issues related to coordination, situation grasping, information sharing; mass mobilization work in specific areas, and resolving hot spots related to site clearance for key projects in the area. In addition, the chair of the conference requested the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee to clarify further the inspection and implementation of grassroots democracy regulations.

Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Hoang Nghia Hieu emphasized that Hung Nguyen is a locality with many unique characteristics. In recent times, through many ways, Hung Nguyen has done a very good job in mass mobilization work, especially the coordination of mass mobilization work with the armed forces and all levels in the area. Thereby, it has gathered the great solidarity of the entire people, strengthened the people's trust in the Party and the government, to work together to build an increasingly prosperous homeland.

Concluding the inspection session, Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Gau acknowledged the results achieved in coordinating the implementation of mass mobilization work of the Standing Committee, the Mass Mobilization Committee of Hung Nguyen District Party Committee and agencies and units in the area.

Identifying mass mobilization work as one of the key and regular tasks, the Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army requested that agencies and units focus on leading and directing the overcoming of the limitations pointed out by the inspection team in coordinating the implementation of mass mobilization work of agencies and units; actively and proactively research and innovate the content and methods of conducting mass mobilization work in accordance with the characteristics of each locality and unit and the requirements and tasks of the forces in the new situation; strengthen exchange and coordination activities to learn and exchange experiences, improve skills in conducting mass mobilization work in all conditions and circumstances; continue to do a good job of coordination in grasping the local situation, the people's situation, etc.

Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Gau especially emphasized that the Standing Committee, the District Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee and the armed forces need to proactively coordinate to grasp and accurately forecast the local situation, advise the Party Committee and authorities to promptly and effectively resolve complicated incidents and issues in the locality, and avoid being passive and surprised, especially in special areas and sensitive fields.
