(Baonghean.vn) - On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2022), on the morning of July 17, the working delegation of the National Assembly Standing Committee led by Major General Le Tan Toi - Member of the Party Central Committee, Member of the National Assembly Standing Committee, Chairman of the National Defense and Security Committee visited and presented gifts to martyr mother Nguyen Thi Thin, residing in Block 4, Cua Nam Ward, Vinh City.

Mother Nguyen Thi Thin is 96 years old this year. Her son is a martyr.Nguyen Quoc Hung (born 1952), died on the Southern front in 1970. Over the years, his mother has always received the care and attention of her children, relatives, neighbors, and local authorities.
Major General Le Tan Toi kindly visited, presented gifts, and sent best wishes to mother Nguyen Thi Thin; hoping that she would always be healthy, continue to encourage her children and grandchildren to study, work well, and actively participate in the movement of the whole people uniting to build a cultural life and develop the local economy./.
