Delegation of Hanoi Capital offered incense to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh and heroic martyrs in Nghe An
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of July 18, a delegation of the Hanoi City Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, on behalf of the Party Committee, Government, and People of Hanoi, visited the Kim Lien National Special Relic Site in Nam Dan, Nghe An to offer flowers and incense to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh.

In a sacred and respectful atmosphere, the delegation of Hanoi Capital and leaders of Nghe An province offered flowers and incense to express their respect and infinite gratitude for the great contributions of President Ho Chi Minh.



During his lifetime, President Ho Chi Minh paid special attention to soldiers, wounded soldiers, sick soldiers, and relatives of martyrs. Every year, on July 27, he personally sent letters, gave gifts, visited wounded soldiers, families of martyrs, and paid tribute to heroic martyrs at cemeteries.
Before passing away, he left these instructions in his historic Testament for the entire Party, army and people: "Immediately after our people's resistance war against the US to save the country was completely victorious, the first task for people is to take care of wounded soldiers and those who contributed to the cause of national liberation and reunification."
Following Uncle Ho's advice, in recent years, the Party Committee, government and people of Hanoi City have thoroughly carried out activities of "paying gratitude" to heroic martyrs, wounded soldiers, and families of policy beneficiaries, promoting emulation movements, building the homeland to become more and more prosperous and developed.
Educate the younger generations to promote the patriotic tradition and revolutionary spirit of the previous generation; at the same time, carry out well the work of gratitude, the work of war invalids and martyrs, take good care of families with preferential policies, Vietnamese Heroic Mothers and families with meritorious services to the revolution. At the Kim Lien National Special Relic Site, in the sacred moments, the delegation vowed to forever study and follow his noble ideology, morality and style.


Next, the delegation of Hanoi Capital paid tribute, offered flowers and incense at Chung Son Temple - the ancestral temple of President Ho Chi Minh.
Previously, at the Vietnam - Laos International Martyrs' Cemetery, Anh Son District, the Hanoi Capital Delegation respectfully offered incense and flowers at the Ho Chi Minh President's Temple and the Monument to Heroic Martyrs and the martyrs' graves.


With sincere hearts, the delegation expressed deep gratitude to the heroic martyrs who sacrificed themselves for the cause of protecting the Fatherland, for the noble and loyal international relationship between Vietnam and Laos, and vowed to follow in the footsteps of the previous generation to overcome all difficulties, strive to fulfill assigned tasks, contribute to building the Capital to become more and more beautiful, and make worthy contributions to the development of the country.



The Vietnam-Laos International Martyrs' Cemetery is the largest cemetery that gathers the graves of Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and experts who fought and died in Laos. Up to now, the cemetery has received and cared for nearly 11,000 remains of martyrs who died on the battlefield in Laos and brought them here to rest.
