Unique procession of gods in Gam temple festival

(Baonghean.vn) - The procession of gods and Buddhas in the Gam Temple Festival in Xuan Thanh commune (Yen Thanh) in 2024 lasted for kilometers, with a grand scale, leaving a deep impression in the hearts of people and tourists.

As an important highlight in the Gam Temple - Pagoda Festival, the procession of gods and Buddhas from Gam Temple - Pagoda to Truc Lam Yen Thanh Zen Monastery was carefully and meticulously prepared by the organizing committee. It is known that before the Gam Temple - Pagoda Festival officially took place, 5 large local families such as Thai Huu, Thai Duy, Nguyen Canh, Le Khac, Nguyen Viet organized a procession of their ancestors' tablets to Gam Temple to attend the festival. The procession traveled a distance of more than 4km round trip. After bringing the gods, Buddhas, and ancestors of the clans to Truc Lam Yen Thanh Zen Monastery for the ceremony, the procession returned to Gam Temple in order.
