Hoa Quan Palace is located at the foot of Phu Mountain in Hamlet 7, Thanh Huong Commune. It was built around the beginning of the Nguyen Dynasty, consisting of three lower, middle and upper palaces, made of ironwood and roofed with yin-yang tiles.
Hoa Quan Palace is a religious structure built by the people to worship the Three Holy Mothers: Mother Lieu Hanh, Mother Thuong Ngan, Mother Thoai and the gods who have contributed to protecting the country and helping the people.
After many times of restoration and embellishment, Hoa Quan Palace still retains its ancient architecture with many beautiful carvings and some ancient artifacts and sacrificial objects. After hundreds of years of existence, the palace is a place for religious activities of local people. During the Nghe Tinh Soviet movement, the palace was a place of revolutionary activities.
With its great values, Hoa Quan Palace was recognized by the People's Committee of Nghe An province as a provincial historical relic according to Decision No. 6380/QD - UBND, signed on December 28, 2017.
