(Baonghean.vn) -Morning of November 14,Comrade Le Ngoc Hoa - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee attended the National Great Unity Day in Dong Thuong hamlet, Dong Van commune, Thanh Chuong district.

Dong Thuong hamlet, Dong Van commune, Thanh Chuong district has 189 households with nearly 800 people. In recent times, the Front Working Committee has closely coordinated with the Dong Thuong hamlet management board and other sectors and organizations to propagate and guide people to effectively implement movements and campaigns, especially the campaign for the whole people to unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas.

Looking back over the past year, the community of Dong Thuong hamlet has tried, made efforts, and united together to achieve many encouraging results in many fields. The people in the hamlet have promoted their internal strength to compete in economic development, helping each other to eliminate hunger and reduce poverty. The hamlet has 25 households that are good at raising livestock; the rate of cultural families is 89.4%; the average income is 35 million VND/person/month; the rate of poor households is 0.65%.

Villagers follow the village and hamlet rules and regulations well; awareness of law compliance is raised; superstitious practices in the hamlet are eliminated.

The movement to build new rural areas has been actively responded by the people, the hamlet has mobilized 225 million VND to build a fence around the cultural house. From the State's support, together with the contributions of money and labor of the people in the hamlet, many spacious and clean roads have been concreted. The people in the hamlet have well implemented the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws, and built a strong political foundation.

At the festival, delegates reviewed the traditions of the Vietnam National United Front, listened to reports on the results of the campaign "All people unite to build a cultural life in residential areas", launched the emulation movement in 2018 and commended and rewarded good people, good deeds, and exemplary cultural families.

Sharing joy with the people of Dong Thuong hamlet at the Festival, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Ngoc Hoa acknowledged and praised the spirit of solidarity, proactiveness and positivity of the cadres and people of Dong Thuong hamlet, Dong Van commune, Thanh Chuong district in implementing emulation movements.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Ngoc Hoa hopes that in the coming time, local officials and people need to further strengthen the great national unity bloc to continue to better implement the "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style"; the campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas"; continue to promote patriotic emulation movements to contribute to building the homeland to develop more and more.

At the same time, it is requested that all levels and sectors of Thanh Chuong district pay attention to supporting Dong Thuong hamlet, Dong Van commune to soon build a commune that meets new rural standards.

At the festival, comrade Le Ngoc Hoa presented gifts worth 3 million VND from the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Provincial Fatherland Front to Dong Thuong hamlet and 10 gifts to households in difficult circumstances, each gift worth 500,000 VND.
