Disciplined 15 Party organizations and more than 1,100 Party members
In 2018, the sector carried out tasks such as: inspecting and supervising Party organizations and Party members, resolving Party disciplinary complaints, resolving denunciations of Party organizations and Party members... in a comprehensive and practical manner, achieving achievements to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Party Inspection sector's tradition (October 16, 1948 - October 16, 2018).
Party committees at all levels disciplined 15 Party organizations, of which 14 were reprimanded and 1 was warned. Among the disciplined Party organizations, there were 8 Party committees, standing committees of grassroots Party committees, and 7 Party cells.
Specifically, 14 Party organizations violated resolutions, directives, regulations, conclusions of the Party, policies and laws of the State; 1 Party organization violated working regulations, principles of democratic centralism and internal solidarity.

The Party Committee also disciplined 891 Party members, an increase of 18% compared to 2017, including: 641 reprimands, 201 warnings, 32 dismissals, and 17 expulsions. Among the disciplined Party members, 115 were Party Committee members at all levels.
The reasons for party members being disciplined are violations of the principle of democratic centralism, things party members are not allowed to do; violations of population policy - family planning; violations of finance, banking, investment, and basic construction.
The Party Inspection Committees at all levels also disciplined 259 party members, an increase of 34% compared to 2017, including 124 party members who were members of the Party Committee. The main violations were things party members are not allowed to do, lack of responsibility, lax leadership, and State management of land, resources, minerals, finance, banking, investment, and basic construction.
The work of building the sector continues to receive attention from Party committees and Inspection Commissions at all levels. During the year, the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission opened 2 training courses on inspection and supervision skills for 250 comrades, including 1 class for leaders and 1 class for full-time inspection officers. The Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission sent 1 officer to join a study group abroad. Inspection Commissions of districts, cities, towns, and affiliated Party Committees organized training courses on inspection and supervision skills for 688 people.
Dedicated, responsible, fair, thoughtful, professional in work
Speaking at the conference, comrade Nguyen Dac Vinh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation assessed that the inspection and supervision programs were basically implemented with guaranteed quality; complicated issues and cases were focused on and achieved results...
However, with the expectation that the provincial Party Inspection sector will better perform its assigned tasks, comrade Nguyen Dac Vinh focused on analyzing and discussing related aspects, especially viewpoints and attitudes in handling and solving inspection issues.
Accordingly, emphasizing that the purpose of inspection is to contribute to making the apparatus cleaner, operating better and reminding and helping cadres better, the Provincial Party Secretary emphasized that inspection cadres must have a deep understanding and grasp the nature of the place of inspection; grasp firmly, firmly, and correctly based on the issues that can be approached and perform tasks with an impartial, transparent attitude and thorough resolution.

Besides, to evaluate and conclude a case, it is necessary to base on regulations, reports, explanations of the inspected individuals and units, as well as consider the context and conditions.
The Provincial Party Secretary emphasized that, along with inspecting, detecting and handling violating organizations and individuals, Party committees at all levels and the Party Inspection sector must pay attention to helping organizations and individuals overcome and improve.
In particular, attention must be paid to the post-inspection experience drawing process so that individuals and organizations that have not yet been disciplined or have been disciplined will recognize their shortcomings and violations and change their awareness and determination to correct them.
“Inspection is to discover the nature and the inside story of the matter. This is only one stage of the problem. The second stage is how to shape, help, and exchange information for organizations and individuals to improve, which is the important thing,” the Provincial Party Secretary pointed out.
In addition, in 2019, the Party Committee will inspect and monitor the progress of implementing programs, projects, resolutions, directives and conclusions. Therefore, the Party Inspection sector must strive to advise the Party Committee to identify and implement this content well.

The industry needs to continue to pay attention to propaganda work, first of all within the cadre team and Party committees; in addition to regular supervision tasks, Inspection Committees at all levels need to proactively arrange human resources to promptly supervise issues arising from practice, public opinion or assigned by Party committees to increase detection and do a good job of prevention.
The Provincial Party Secretary also requested the sector to continue to urge and closely monitor the conclusions after the inspection; focus on training, education and development of cadres, especially specialized training on new and difficult issues. Each cadre in the sector needs to set a good example with the motto of dedication, responsibility, impartiality, thoughtfulness, professionalism, and performing their duties and tasks correctly.
On this occasion, the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission awarded Certificates of Merit to the Inspection Commissions of 6 subordinate Party Committees that excellently completed their tasks in 2018, including: Vinh City Party Committee, Nam Dan, Anh Son, Quynh Luu District Party Committees, and the Provincial Public Security and Border Guard Party Committees.
