On the morning of June 23, the Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control of Nghe An province held an urgent meeting with the Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control of Do Luong district when a case of Covid-19 appeared in the community in this district. Also attending were representatives of the Nghe An CDC and Nghe An Lung Hospital.
On the morning of June 23, Nghe An province announced 2 new infections, including patient D.XK, male, born in 1979, address in districtDo Luong; is F1 of patient NQB who was announced earlier. Before being discovered, patient D.XK was quarantined at Do Luong town Kindergarten.
At the urgent meeting, the Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control of Do Luong District reported on the district's prevention and control activities immediately after the case was announced. Accordingly, the authorities have investigated and traced F1 cases, and have found 138 F1 cases and quarantined them; and isolated and disinfected the areas where the patient had been.
Concluding the meeting, Associate Professor, Dr. Duong Dinh Chinh - Deputy Head of the Provincial Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control, Director of Nghe An Department of Health requested the districtDo Luongpromptly propose specific anti-epidemic plans; resolutely and promptly control the epidemic; conduct extensive investigation and tracing, appropriate zoning and isolation according to the motto "Better to do more than to do less".

The Deputy Head of the Provincial Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control agreed to the proposal to quarantine the District Police area starting from 12 noon today, June 23; assigned the District People's Committee to announce the temporary suspension of general and specialized clinics in the area to ensure disease prevention; assigned Nghe An CDC and Nghe An Lung Hospital to coordinate to help the district prevent and control the disease./.
