Evelyn Schwarz, 29, manager of the Bordoll brothel in Dortmund, said her brothel has 11 silicone sex dolls, each with its own name.

Each doll weighs 30kg and is imported from Asia and costs £1,786 each. They all have different heights, hair colours and breast sizes.

The brothel owner said men of all ages and professions from all over Germany flocked to her brothel.

"From high-ranking people like judges to ordinary workers, they come to our brothel. Seventy percent of our customers come back. Many come to our brothel out of curiosity," said Schwarz.

Schwarz came up with the idea for the Bordoll brothel while working on another project. Surprisingly, Schwarz says, many of her clients' wives are quite tolerant of the silicone dolls.

Schwarz has even seen wives waiting in cars while their husbands go into brothels and have sex with a doll.

“They just see these dolls as toys,” she said.

Schwarz also said that once a customer got so excited that she broke a doll. She had to order a new one.
