Transporting crystal meth from Vinh city to Hoang Mai town for consumption

(Baonghean.vn) - While Duc was waiting for the customer to receive the goods, the police suddenly arrived and arrested him, confiscating 24.52 grams of crystal meth.

At about 2:00 p.m. on June 23, 2017, after receiving information from the public that some individuals in Vinh City were bringing a large quantity of synthetic drugs to the town for consumption, Hoang Mai Town Police established a special project to fight.

At about 3:00 p.m. the same day, the task force was monitoring and lying in ambush on a road in Hamlet 19, Quynh Vinh Commune, Hoang Mai Town when they discovered a suspicious subject preparing to commit drug trafficking.

The task force raided and caught Nguyen Thi Minh Duc (born in 1970, residing in Quang Trung ward, Vinh city) hiding a black phosphor package containing white crystals, suspected to be synthetic drugs with a total weight of 24.52 grams.

Initially, Duc confessed that the white substance was crystal meth and was being sold when he was arrested by the police. Duc has two previous convictions for illegal drug trafficking. The case is being further investigated by the Hoang Mai City Police Department.
