Using bamboo sticks to block the road and rob passersby
Five people riding two motorbikes covered their license plates, used bamboo sticks to block the road and robbed 12.2 million VND and phones from many passersby.
Lam Thao District Police (Phu Tho) are detaining 5 suspects who committed 2 consecutive robberies at night.

The five detained subjects include: Phan Van Cuong (born in 1994), Cao Bao Duc (born in 2002), all residing in Lam Thao district; Quang Van Trung (born in 2000), Quang Van Cuong (born in 1994), Lo Van Tien (born in 2000), all residing in Thuan Chau district, Son La province.
According to initial investigation results, at around 0:00 on August 8, on National Highway 2D, in Cao Xa commune, Lam Thao district, 5 subjects riding 2 motorbikes covered their license plates, used bamboo sticks to block the road and robbed Nguyen Hong Ngoc and Nguyen Phu Khanh.
The amount of property stolen from the two victims was 10 million VND and 1 mobile phone.
A few hours later, in the same area, 5 young men continued their old tricks, blocking the road and robbing 2.2 million VND from Mr. Luu Quang Vinh (residing in Viet Tri City).
Immediately after receiving the victims’ report, Lam Thao District Police began investigating and arrested the group of 5 suspects. The case is currently under further investigation and expansion.
