About 50 - 60% of the route length will go on overpasses, river bridges, without level crossings with roads like the current railway. The land area occupied is about 50m wide, including the railway and the protection corridor.

Deputy Director of the Department of Transport Nguyen Duc An said that locating the station in Hoang Mai town is more suitable, because this is a key economic zone, with a convenient distance... Photo: Thu Huyen |
After listening to the opinions of local representatives, the Construction and Transport sectors, speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Huynh Thanh Dien basically agreed with the route plan implemented by the consultant. However, the section through Hoang Mai town needs to be studied in accordance with the local planning. The consulting consortium needs to calculate the location of the station, the route plan to limit the amount of compensation for land clearance, and facilitate the connection via National Highway 46 and the 72m road under construction. The southern route plan needs to be adjusted to the left of the expressway, located between the expressway and National Highway 1A to limit intersections with the expressway.
Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Huynh Thanh Dien proposed to the working delegation and the Project Management Board to study placing the station in Hoang Mai Town instead of Truong Lam Station (Thanh Hoa) because this is a key economic zone, with existing traffic connecting to the economic zones in the West of Nghe An.
