Nearly 1,200 people participate in 'Red Sunday'
(Baonghean.vn) - On January 12, in Vinh City, Nghe An Red Cross Society and the Provincial Blood Transfusion Hematology Center in collaboration with Tien Phong newspaper organized the 12th voluntary blood donation "Red Sunday" - 2020.
Attending the ceremony were representatives of the Department of Health, Nghe An Provincial Youth Union and 1,200 volunteers from agencies, units and schools in Vinh city.

With the message "Donate blood to save lives, your life and mine", the 2020 humanitarian blood donation festival aims to supplement the blood bank to help patients with serious illnesses or those who are unlucky enough to have traffic accidents and other illnesses.
In the morning, volunteers donated 756 units of blood, and it is expected that this time more than 1,200 units of blood will be collected, adding to the province's blood bank to serve the treatment needs of patients during Tet.
