Gasoline and oil prices reduced from 3pm

The retail price of RON 92 gasoline is now at 17,060 VND, down 210 VND per liter compared to before.

The above retail prices were announced by the Vietnam National Petroleum Group (Petrolimex) to be effective from this afternoon. The specific levels for petroleum products are as follows:

Previously, the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance announced, requesting key enterprises to reduce the retail price of mineral gasoline by 211 VND per liter, E5 gasoline by 197 VND per liter. Oil products also decreased by 6-343 VND per liter, kg depending on the type.Price stabilization tools such as the deduction and expenditure levels of the Petroleum Stabilization Fund are kept the same by the operator as before.

After the adjustments, the price of RON 92 gasoline will not be higher than VND17,063 per liter; E5 gasoline will be at VND16,871 per liter. Diesel will not be higher than VND13,260 per liter; kerosene will be at VND11,792 per liter and mazut will not be higher than VND10,896 per kilogram.

Domestic gasoline prices have decreased for the third consecutive time since the beginning of the year.

The basis for the reduction in domestic gasoline prices, as explained by the Joint Ministry, is that the prices of finished products of these items have decreased sharply in the past 15 days, averaging more than 61 USD per barrel for RON 92 gasoline; diesel is about more than 60.4 USD per barrel...

This is the 10th adjustment in retail gasoline prices since the beginning of the year and the third consecutive time retail gasoline prices have decreased./.
