At exactly 8:00 a.m., the official personnel check-in began. The teams gathered one by one at the Provincial Sports and Physical Training Center at 6 Dao Tan Street, Cua Nam Ward, Vinh City to complete procedures, receive their competition uniforms, and take photos before entering the tournament. The Hung Nguyen District Children's Team was the first team to have its personnel checked.

To be able to participate in this children's football festival, some teams in the highlands "set out" on the afternoon of June 8. Teams near Vinh city rented buses and got on the buses at dawn to be on time for the "meeting". Some teams arrived at the Provincial Sports Stadium before they had time to check into their hotel rooms. The young players brought backpacks with enough clothes and personal belongings for a week of the tournament with the great hope of being able to make it to the final match... Many parents from far away areas accompanied their children to this tournament.

To ensure the tournament is always fair, honest and objective, this year's tournament, in addition to the officials of the Department of Culture and Sports, Song Lam Nghe An Football Club, the Organizing Committee also invited the Police force to participate in the Personnel Committee... However, unlike the tense nature of many other tournaments, the personnel inspection at the Bao Cup, the person assigned to inspect, the young players being inspected, the coaches and team leaders were all happy and smiling.

After 2 years of suspension due to the Covid-19 pandemic, this year's Nghe An Newspaper Cup Youth - Children Football Tournament has many new faces. It is not only a new generation of young players but also on the "coach bench". Many of the main coaches this year were assistants from previous years. They are younger and more eager to win.

In preparation for the tournament, some coaches have asked their players to eat, stay, and practice seriously for a whole week before the start of the tournament. However, when discussing the season on the sidelines, the coaches are quite reserved about the team's goals. "Youth football is very interesting. The matches in the Bao Cup are won or lost in a split second. Any team is a strong team and a candidate for the championship," said one coach.

By 11am on June 9, the personnel inspection was completed. The last team to conduct the inspection was the Nghia Dan district children's team.

Through inspection, most of the teams did a good job in preparing the documents and competition procedures for the players. The selected players were all the right people, the right age; the majority of the players were good at football and good at studying. Only a few players lost their original birth certificates and were given detailed instructions by the Personnel Department to complete the competition documents.

The physical strength of the players in all teams is similar, there is no difference. Obviously, this year's tournament will be very attractive; opportunities are equally divided for all teams.

Through the personnel inspection, the Organizing Committee of the Youth - Children's Football Tournament of Nghe An Newspaper Cup has also recognized, learned from experience and will make reformative changes for next year's season.
