Associate Professor, Dr. Duong Dinh Chinh stated: Son Thanh Commune, Yen Thanh District is a locality with many potential risks of Covid-19 epidemic. Yen Thanh must be very proactive in investigating, tracing, and detecting suspected cases. In particular, the district needs to step up propaganda work, promote the role of community Covid-19 teams to detect people with symptoms of cough and fever and bring them for testing.
When receiving citizens returning from epidemic areas for medical quarantine, the district needs to clearly define clusters, times, and localities to arrange citizens for quarantine scientifically. The district needs to consider a plan for citizens returning from epidemic areas to be quarantined at their households (family members need to evacuate before the citizens return).
