Invigilator was thrown dirty substance at by candidate
On the morning of June 4, before the Math exam at Thai Hoa High School, candidate Hoang Vu Trung - exam room number 13, Thai Hoa High School, Thai Hoa Town, waited on the side of the road and threw dirty substances at the invigilator because the invigilator discovered him looking at documents and made a record of him violating exam regulations.
Previously, on the morning of June 3, during the Geography exam, Mr. Tran Vinh (57 years old, currently working at Hoang Mai High School, Quynh Luu) and Ms. Nghiem Thi Cam Tho - a teacher at Thai Lao High School (Hung Nguyen) were assigned by the Examination Council to be invigilators of room 13 at Thai Hoa High School. During the exam, some students had a verbal exchange, Mr. Vinh and Ms. Tho immediately reminded the candidates to maintain order in the exam room, but candidate Hoang Vu Trung did not comply and continued to openly open the documents.

Ms. Tho - supervisor 2 asked candidate Hoang Vu Trung to submit his documents to Mr. Vinh - supervisor 1. After consulting, both supervisors decided to make a record of Hoang Vu Trung's violation of exam regulations at 7:50 a.m. on June 3, and reported it to the Chairman of the Examination Council. According to the regulations, the Chairman of the Examination Council decided to cancel the result of this candidate's Geography exam. In the afternoon, candidate Hoang Vu Trung still took the Biology exam as usual.
To prevent any unfortunate incidents, Mr. Vinh reported to the Thai Hoa City police and the police arranged for Mr. Vinh to be taken to Viet Anh Hotel (Hoa Hieu Ward, Thai Hoa City) to rest.
Teacher Tran Vinh recounted that at about 6:15 a.m. after breakfast, he took his motorbike from the hotel to Thai Hoa High School to continue supervising the final exam day. “After going about 15 meters, I was repeatedly thrown plastic bags containing dirty substances (I don’t know what the specific substances were, but they smelled of fish sauce, gasoline, and oil) by candidate Hoang Vu Trung, who was waiting on the side of the road,” said teacher Vinh.
After that, candidate Trung jumped on a motorbike that two young men were waiting for and ran away. Upon receiving the news, Thai Hoa Town Police immediately deployed forces to the hotel to protect Mr. Vinh and to investigate the incident.
Mr. Vinh confided: “I have been a teacher for more than 30 years and have been assigned to supervise exams dozens of times, but this is the first incident I have encountered. I want to remind schools, families and society to pay attention to educating children to study hard, especially focusing on moral education for students.”
It is known that candidate Hoang Vu Trung was a failed candidate last year.
Currently, Thai Hoa Town Police are urgently investigating and clarifying the case./.
